The behavior I see is the receiver menu doesn't seem to show any input audio then the receiver shows DD playing. The audio is in sync with the video though, so the issue isn't lip sync. The issue is the audio has a three to five second delay before the audio starts playing whenever I play a video. I'm using the Plex App on the CX to watch movies and TV shows on my local PC that has Plex Media Server installed. I've ensured the eARC setting is on in the CX and audio is set to passthrough.

A certified ultra-high speed HDMI cable connects the eARC port on the CX and to the 8k HDMI out port on the NR6100. This area seemed the most relevant one for the issues below.Ĭan someone help me to determine why the Plex App on the LG CX TV has a 4 to 5 second audio delay? I have an LG CX 65 TV, an Onkyo TX NR6100 AVR, and 5.1 speakers. No subtitles and only a single audio track.First off: apologies if this post is in the wrong area. It’s an MKV container file, AAC audio, and H.264, but “Is Direct Play” is always false. Based on, the content I have should indeed be supported for direct playing. I’m a first time Plex user, and I simply have no idea what’s going on. My router has a direct ethernet cable to my TV, and the hard drives for the server and media are directly connected to my router. I’ve attached a picture of what my dashboard looks like. When I first start playing through the LG Plex app, the first client shows up in my dashboard (no transcoding), but a few seconds in, once the show starts playing, a second client shows up with transcoding. The Plex dashboard also shows a duplicate/phantom client (both supposedly the LG Plex app). I only have a single TV series I tried downloading/playing, but it appears no matter what I do it always transcodes from 720p down to 480p. Setup was a breeze, a few clicks, and everything seemed to be working.

I recently set up Plex on my Nighthawk X10 router.
